Why choose resin for your driveway?
Resin: the perfect choice of surface
Resin bound driveways are UK building control approved. A resin driveway is formed of small gravel like stones that are bound together by resin to create a very hard, but porous surface. Unlike tarmac and block paving, a resin driveway is not subject to weeds, nor will UV light damage or change its colour.
If you have an existing tarmac or block paving driveway, it could be that we can install the resin directly on top of your existing surface, thus saving you money.
It can be laid in a huge variety of colours and you can have different paterns or colours for paths. The 3 major benefits of resin are:
Maintenance free
Resin requires the least maintenance of all driveway surfaces. Regular brushing and washing is the only maintenance required for resin-bound surfacing.
Anti-slip surface
Resin is a great choice for the elderley or for persons who need walking assistance. Non-slip and completely flat surface.
Completely porous
One of the great benefits of resin is no puddles because it is completely porous.
Resin Bound Surfaces
Typical Install time 3-5 days
In accordance with UK Building Regulations, resin allows water to pass through it at approx 850litres per sqm. That’s greater than UK rainfall, so it drains quickly without puddles.
Your resin driveway can be constructed using a vast amount of different colours. You can also have seperate colours for pathways and features.

How long does a typical patio or driveway take to install?
Typically, we allow 7 days to complete a project. This does however depend on size and materials. Some tarmac driveways can be completed in a couple of days. It really depends on your existing driveway and requirements.
What is the best type of driveway?
Tarmac is our most popular driveway material, because it is quick and low maintenance. If you already have a tarmac or block paving driveway and you wish to replace it, resin is then our most popular.
